OR

• Candidate must pass diploma in engineering and technology with a minimum of 50% marks, (45% marks for backward class and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only)

1. All India Candidature, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidate

• The candidate should have Indian Nationality
• Must pass 10+2 examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with chemistry or biotechnology or biology or technical vocational subjects, obtaining a minimum of 50% marks, (45% marks for backward class and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only) in the above subjects taken together.
• Should obtain non zero positive scores in JEE Main Paper 1 and the candidate must appear in all subjects in CET exam and obtain a non-zero score in the exam conducted by a competent authority

 OR

• Candidate must pass diploma in engineering and technology with a minimum of 50% marks, (45% marks for backward class and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only)

1. NRI/ OCI/ PIO (children of Indian workers in the Gulf Countries, Foreign National)

• Must pass 10+2 examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with chemistry or biotechnology or biology or technical vocational subjects, obtaining a minimum of 50% marks in the above subjects taken together.
• Must follow any other criteria declared from time to time by the authority as defined under the Act

For direct 2nd year (lateral entry) admission

1. The candidate should have Indian Nationality
2. Passed diploma course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks for backward class and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government Approved Institution or its equivalent
